Those parents piss me off. They should pray they never meet me. I find the neglection of children to be a horrendous crime. If they'd rather play D & D then take care of their children they shouldn't have children at all.

This re-enforces my thought that we need a parenting test...you have to score a certain amount before you can be a parent...if you score less, they recommend a pet that would suit your amount of preparedness...

Wouldn't work for me... I hated school, never studied, never paid attention in class, and always scored over 90% on my tests. I could learn by accident enough for the test. 1 week after the test? I probably couldn't get 50% on it.

that'd be impossible. having a pet first is probably the best way. everyone must have some kind of animal they'd love as a pet. as for the whole child neglect ordeal, i don't think they did it on purpose, as in thinking "my baby's crying but i don't feel like getting up and feeding it"..they were probably so absorbed in it with intense concentration they simply didnt pay any attention to their surroundings.

it was a reference to a TV show i saw at some point...where a guy took a parenting test, and all he qualified for was a pet turtle...

i wasn't actually serious...
