100 years of the Anglo-Irish treaty

Yesterday was the 100 year anniversary of the Anglo-Irish Treaty, which established the Irish Free State. This state was effectively a Canada- or Australia-like lackey of the Brits, although paved the way for true independence.

To this day it remains full of Catholics, but through its 'Celtic Tiger' phase has achieved a level of wealth unheard of in the island's history, making full use of its independence and reaping the rewards of autonomy.

Here's to leaving the UK, here's to leaving the EU, and here's to liberty (but not the French kind).

Ireland would be a great country if there weren't so many Irish there.

Only 30% of the population of Guam is Guamanian. Maybe one day Ireland can follow Guam's lead in national improvement.

Much like the SNP, the Irish nationalists seem to want to fill their own country with darker skin. Well the people that voted for them certainly don't, but the party have to, to receive the financial backing of the 'globalists'.
