The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services yesterday released new data in the weekly respiratory surveillance report showing that unvaccinated people were 15.4 times, or 1,540 percent, more likely to die from COVID-19 during the four-week period ending Aug. 21, 2021. This comes as the state hit a pandemic high on Aug. 26 with 912 adults in the ICU with COVID-19. The number of COVID-19 patients on ventilators also reached a record high at 574.

Mull this over. Here is how it went down.

Get going at not sure am.
Jack in the box for pseudo breakfast.
Drive down via sort of coast line.
Arrive cheese factory around 18:00 local.
Self guided tour, sample, have amazing grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup at cafe.
Drive into town see outside of blimp hanger.
Drive part way to open ocean.
Return Tillamook.
Find hotel.
Sleep. Pee. Sleep. Pee. Sleep. Pee.
Wake up, watch part of Married with Children episode. Shower.
Eat free gas station crap with orange punch crystal drink, touted as, "continental breakfast."
Drive to open ocean.
Look at lighthouse.
Look at Sitka Spruce called The Octopus Tree.
Stop at beach, note how it looks like Hawaii but feels like the North Pole even though it is perfect temperature for summer day at home.
Return to blimp hanger.
Tour museum, marvel at Super Guppie, go inside Supper Guppie, pose for pictures with Super Guppie.
Finish museum tour.
Buy t-shirt.
Return to cheese factory.
Sample, buy cheese, eat more amazing soup & sandwich.
Go to Tillamook Smoker outlet/gas station.
Buy $20 gasoline, $10 pepperoni, $14 and change worth of other jerky & drinks.
Drive to Southbend.
Eat oysters, wife gets coleslaw, daughter shrimp cocktail, son clam chowder after oyster boy gives us attitude because I had the audacity to ask if they had smoked oysters, since son was not keen on fancy pants fresh oysters on half shell. Smugly, "The grocery store across the street has smoked oysters."
Drive back to Bremmerton.
Sleep.
Wake up for second night wizz.
