I'm looking to up the numbers following my new Instagram. There's very little there at the moment, and I'm really just starting to learn what you can do on Instagram. So far I've learned how to post from my PC rather than a phone or whatever. It's going to be purely used to talk about my writing.

Today I got the first draft of my play 'Ice cream Notions and Energy Potions' complete and ready to send off to various people to critique. The novel version of the same tale is already in that process, and I'm eagerly awaiting comments.
The novel is far more detailed, and in places darker. The script version is more light-hearted and has echoes of the 'panto' form, though it's far from actually being a panto.

I can't reveal too much as yet, but here's the cast ist for the script version.

DRAMATIS PERSONAE
ARTIST: A painter with a tent at the festival.
CHILD: A small boy
CULTIST 1: Ponos worshipper
CULTIST 2: Ponos worshipper
CULTIST 3: Ponos worshipper
FESTIVAL-GOER: One of many, this one has a line or two.
FRIED DOUGH SALESMAN: He, um, sells fried dough.
GAME VENDOR: Runs a dodgy stall at the festival.
GAVRILA FOX: Teen spiderfolk, son of Gustav
GIRL ORC CULTIST: Ponos worshipper
GUSTAV FOX: A spiderfolk printer
IMERI CIRTAS: A cleric of Qotal, a wood elf
JASMINE PAPPAS: A priestess of Ponos. A birdfolk elf.
JASMINE’S HELPER: A worshipper of Ponos and festival helper
JEWELLER: A stallholder
LADY: Mother of small boy
MANFORD: A rogue
MENDAX TALESPINNER: A bard
NAHIRI: Imeris’ familiar, a flying snake.
MANFORD’S SOCK: A not-too-convincing talking sock.
MENDAX’S SOCK: A talking sock.
MENDAX’S OTHER SOCK: Another talking sock. No relation.
MENDAX’S SOCK PEOPLE: Two passers-by taken over by the socks.
NUSI: A bartender:
POLICEMAN: 'City Guard’ would be more appropriate.
POLICEWOMAN: ‘City Guard’ would be more appropriate.
SERGE BHARANI: Teen anteaterfolk
STALLHOLDER 1: A stallholder at the festival
STALLHOLDER 2: ditto
VICTORIA NADAR: A barbarian patchwork zombie.
YOSHIRO ALKOOLIKOS: A barbarian birdfolk
WHEELCHAIR MAN: Hoping for a handout.


There are also various crowd scenes which need extras. Much doubling is possible.

How does the first differ from the second?

The barbarian birdfolk sounds fun.
