Conquer Club

Went to the pub and sat indoors for the first time since about 54BC. I didn't have to order food. The poor guys are only open three days a week, for 5 hours. I'd say it's my 'local', but the first lockdown came before I'd really established that at this address. I didn't know any body today , and I sat in a corner reading ( which is my default in such circumstances). I was disturbed by how much a draught beer costs over a can from the supermarket, and I was uneasy about how people were too close together with no masks. But I loved it.
