great powers produced, stellar battle ships, heavy cruisers and such...and in a mind blowing pace...
it was such a race, cannon perimeters, ranges, armor thickness were in the pride menu for those great powers....

after 1950s, this trend got into a sharp cut down, no more nation went for production of such big battleships anymore...
this is due to the fact that,
it just took 2 hours to sink one of the world's most amazing battleship, yamato in ww2...
just 2 hours to send this hundreds of million dolars ship into the deep waters of ocean...
capacity and capabilities of aircraft carriers changed an era in naval history
