The People Fight Back Against the Rats! Junior Rat down, King Rat next!

Image

A handful of Rats joined the Republican minority in the New York Assembly to cobble together a majority to strip Biden ally Governor Andrew Cuomo of his special powers under the Permanent State of Siege he declared a year ago. The Assembly enacted the legislation over the objections of Cuomo, the Rat party bosses, and the lying media.

Statement from Speaker Carl Heastie Clarifying Misinformation on Legislative Agreement to Terminate the Governor's Emergency Powers

Fact #1
The legislation immediately repeals the Governor’s expanded emergency powers and he cannot issue any new directives going forward.

Fact #2
The Governor must justify to the Legislature the extension or modification of any existing directives every 30 days.

Fact #3
The Legislature can, by a simple majority vote, repeal any executive order at any time.

Fact #4
The bill allows the Legislature to undo the state of emergency.

Fact #5
We did not negotiate this bill with the Governor.

https://nyassembly.gov/Press/?sec=story&story=95722

A few Republicans voted against the bill saying they would vote for nothing short of the impeachment and removal of Cuomo and his prosecution and jailing for his great crimes against the people of New York, and the convening of a Truth and Reconciliation Commission in front of which all Rats would be frog-marched to have their guilt officially recorded for history.

Cuomo has issued nearly 100 orders related to the coronavirus pandemic, according to debate in the Senate on Friday morning.

Sen. Andrew Lanza, R-Staten Island, on Friday complained that the bill would not prevent Cuomo from acting unilaterally and continuing directives he has issued under the emergency powers authorization.

Lanza, who said he would vote against the bill for that reason, blasted “one-man rule” and the effects from “when you have one man have absolute power over your lives” since last March.

“If I would have told anyone two years ago that we were going to stand by and let a governor to tell student athletes that they couldn’t play” or tell students they could not put on a play “people would say, you’re crazy, no way, no how is that happening,” Lanza said.

The move to strip Cuomo’s powers underscore what has been a growing rift between the governor and lawmakers from his own party.

Cuomo for years has been able to enforce his political will with less effective pushback from the Senate and Assembly than his predecessors faced.

One real question is: will Cuomo be forced to resign over his despicable and deplorable behavior?

So far, 3 young women have come forward to make such allegations. How many MORE will it take?

I lost count how many women came forward for Bill Cosby. And the same for Harvey Weistein.

You're comparing apples to oranges. Making a pass at a co-worker is not in the same league as rape. These are violations of departmental policy at best.

I'm with Duku, we shouldn't act like all 'bad behavior' is the same. Comparing Cuomo to Weinstien and Cosby is wrong.

Cuomo might have used his words poorly... Cosby drugged and rapped 50 women, including some minors.

There's also the fact that he forged COVID death stats.

Forced to resign is not the same as prison for criminal acts.

BUT my points until now ignored Cuomo's other scandal, hiding the death numbers from COVID. Cuomo MAY be forced to resign because of the combination of both scandals.

My point about comparing Cuomo to both Cosby and Weinstein was not the ACT, but the number of accusers that eventually turned the tide to convince the juries, either of public opinion or in a criminal case.

The current Lt. Gov. of my state, Virginia, was not forced to resign after two women accused him of sexual assault. Was two NOT enough? (Of course there are the complexities of our Governor "Black Face" Ralph Northam and the admission of #3 AG Mark Herring, so Virginia is [embarrassingly] more complex.)

The fact that Trump is no longer in public office means (to me) that the press "wolves" or "hounds" have now started to chase Democrats for sensational stories to feed the 24 hour news cycles. How many more scandals of Democrats will be brought to light?

For Trump it was 26. Not saying that Cuomo shouldn't leave, but anyone who didn't want Trump removed for that should have nothing to say about Cuomo.

Trump didn't manipulate COVID death statistics by up to 50-percent. The Administration was willing to live and die by an honest accounting of mortality rates and received relentless criticism for it. The Rat Cuomo manipulated the death statistics so he would be praised and showered with awards based on a false perception of reality he created.

The Rats truly are the most misled voters around, cheering heroes that their leaders have created in a kaleidoscope of fantasy and lies.

Correct, he said it would eventually go away. You're saying it won't eventually go away and it will be an eternal problem here for the next 10,000 years? If that's the case -- and you believe what's done is done -- why were you bitching about Trump for the last year?

Gym and mookie's allies among the Beijing-backed activists that now control the Democratic Party are too much even for lifetime Rat operatives. When Beijing Biden's stormtroopers took control of the Nevada Democratic Party this weekend, every single party staff member quit .. and emptied the party's bank account on their way out the door!

With enemies like this, who needs friends? 2022 RED WAVE! =D> =D>

NOT LONG AFTER Judith Whitmer won her election on Saturday to become chair of the Nevada Democratic Party, she got an email from the party’s executive director, Alana Mounce. The message from Mounce began with a note of congratulations, before getting to her main point.

She was quitting. So was every other employee. And so were all the consultants. And the staff would be taking severance checks with them, thank you very much.

On March 6, a coalition of progressive candidates backed by the local chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America took over the leadership of the Nevada Democratic Party, sweeping all five party leadership positions in a contested election that evening. Whitmer, who had been chair of the Clark County Democratic Party, was elected chair. The establishment had prepared for the loss, having recently moved $450,000 out of the party’s coffers and into the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee’s account.

Love this headline ...

Say goodbye to the most effective Democratic Party in the country

The Republicans must be gleeful, feeling all kinds of schadenfreude after their decade of suffering through the inept reign of McDonald and having to navigate the party nonsense: Berniecrats, some of whom still can’t get over the Vermont senator’s 2016 caucus loss here, who seem more skilled at inane Twitter memes than anything else and who think winning caucuses and state chair elections is the same as winning real elections, take control of the Democratic Party.

I give credit where credit is due, even if it is to Beijing Biden. Your side produces some great musical numbers. Not ashamed to say that.

These GOP senators aren't seeking reelection in 2022

The battle for the Senate is heating up as Republicans look to win back the majority in next year's midterm elections.

Several GOP senators have already said they won't seek reelection in 2022, with Sen. Roy Blunt (Mo.) becoming the latest with his announcement Monday.

The retirements are likely to pose some challenges for Republicans as Democrats eye pick-up opportunities in battleground states.

I think that is now FIVE such GOP Senators, the last I heard.

Democrats are firmly in control of New York!

A weary and haggard-looking New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo was photographed Friday in a blanket carrying a bottle and talking on the phone outside of the governor's mansion, as pressure escalated on him to resign over allegations of sexual misconduct directed at multiple women.

IS SIX ENOUGH?

6th Woman Accuses N.Y. Gov. Cuomo Of Inappropriate Sexual Conduct

https://www.npr.org/2021/03/11/975964546/6th-woman-accuses-n-y-gov-cuomo-of-inappropriate-sexual-conduct

An increasing number of allegations of inappropriate sexual conduct are being leveled against New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. So far, six women have come forward.

A sixth woman is now accusing New York Governor Andrew Cuomo of inappropriate sexual conduct. Last night, the Times Union in Albany published her account, the latest and most explosive allegation yet. So far, five women Cuomo worked with and one he had just met at a wedding have come forward.

Part of the NPR interview follows:

MARTIN: So now Cuomo's facing all these calls for him to resign, right? Notably, the head of the New York State Senate, Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, has joined this chorus. What's the governor saying?

HOGAN: Well, up until at least yesterday, Cuomo had really brushed off those calls. He says leaving his post would be anti-democratic since voters elected him to serve a four-year term. And he says allegations are just that - allegations. But at some point, Rachel, the combined weight of all these accounts may make his political future untenable.

MARTIN: Gwynne Hogan from member station WNYC, we appreciate you bringing your reporting to us.
