Presidential perspectives soften with time. Barry has the benefit of 8 years out of office and Lincoln has 160. In a few months Trump should be number one.

americans are only able to name these 3 presidents... they can't remember what happened before obama. Maybe a few can name washington too.

If the South had won and achieved their goal of securing the right to own people forever...maybe then you could argue he was the ‘greatest’ at something. As it stands he’s just a loser in so many ways.

If The SOUTH won...Slaves would have been freed anyway...For that is the way the wind was blowing in the world...in the late 19th cen...Also,by the 20th cen...The SOUTH would have rejoined the Union peacefully...For all the money was in the North...The SOUTH could have never lasted economically...Like When TEXAS became a country,then joined the Union,The SOUTH,back to the Union....As for Pres. DAVIS...he freed the slaves and ended the war... Not, Lincoln,Lincoln had no authority to do so in the SOUTH...even more ironic...Lincoln didn't even free slaves in the North...,it was still legal to own slaves in Delaware,until 1908...It was DAVIS who brought America back together when you think of it...The Reason for most Was State's Rights...Which is more a factor in Today's America then ever before...STATE'S RIGHTS , achieved in the 21st cen..By way of a global pandemic....The SOUTH's main fight,battle finally achieved... ...DAVIS wins,oh,yeah...and DAVIS outlasted Lincoln...
