This is the inauguration mega thread. It's January 18 and Donald Trump is still president.
The rehearsal for Biden's weird AF bunker inauguration had to be abandoned today after everyone was forced to flee the Capitol due to an external security threat. Biden is so popular he needs 30,000 mechanized infantry and tank troops - twice the size of the entire New Zealand Army - to protect him.

i googled it and the only "notable" acts i could find were the rockettes, the mormon tabernacle choir & 3 doors down - not much "star power" to be found there...

You think that made a difference? Pre-COVID history tells us otherwise. The Rats have a chronic enthusiasm problem. Maybe that's why they lost 30 seats in the House of Representatives and currently have the slimmest majority since WWII (actually, they may briefly lose their majority after three Representatives have to resign to take posts in His Fraudulency's cabinet).
