What happened to the “Bean Dad” thread?

I typed a reply... hit “send” and then a screen came up saying I “could not read posts in this forum”.

WTF?!

Sowwy, I deleted it after 22 views and I didn't think you were going to come through with the response.

I blame the Internet. I used to have lots of patience, now it's been killed by near instant access to vine like short clips.

Now I feel bad for not being able to wait six hours.

what was it about? something racist against mexicans?

Google “Bean Dad”... some idiot dad (idiot in my opinion for sharing his life on twitter) is being blasted by other idiot people for ‘torturing/starving’ his daughter. Mind you he didn’t really torture or starve her... but he was dumb enough to share his somewhat dumb parenting skilz with the internet; so we know when you do that the internet blasts you for it way out of proportion to the actual ‘crime’.

My opinions...

The bad parenting was waiting until the child was nine.

I don't think, making her figure it out instead of teaching her, was a big deal.

The tragically funny part is all the first world people, that are ignorant to the fact there are children all over the planet, often going way longer than 6 hours without a meal.

The real mistake was trying to raise your kid while involving social media. Stop bragging and self promoting and just be a parent.

Meh. I shouldn't exactly by the one to tell a guy to get off the internet. I prefer to focus my hypocrisy elswhere.

Like when they sleep. My daughter sleeps 11hrs straight. I take great joy in not waking her up to feed her during her sleep.
