I'm not anti-spam before anyone accuses me of this but what would happen if spamalot was locked by *whispers* the "lock smith", *the sky darkens and all falls silent* would there be mass riots, would governments be overthrown, would armageddon finally arrive?

I don't think so. I think it changed the site a lot. I think it might of been what made the mods harsher. If I remember correctly they were way more leneit, and some complains to stop the spam. Now it seems that some people are complaining the mods are too harsh. Or least that's what I've seen.

well i know just about every important member of this site belongs to spamalot in someway. a few weeks back in a mafia game i jokingly suggested that spamalot may be a cult, that comment on page 5 made me get lynched on day 3 because people would not let it die. then i saw the "lock er down" thread and thought what would happen if a mod locked down spamalot

"lock er' down" is a phrase used by JTTFR or something like that, and he's a stache. He goes around posting it into thread after thread, and it's kinda annoying. Of course, I have seen no punishment or warning issued to him, most likely because the mods like him. Because the mods don't like us, one little step outside our thread and we get pounced on by them. It's the way they work...
