I'm not really knowledgeable about this dispute but Duke wanted a thread kind of like this.

I love the region.

Most of the people I met there are quite nice. The few that were grouchy did not affect me. I actually feel bad for butchering the French word for green pepper, trying to order pizza from one gentleman. His pizza was not the best I have had but they were exceptionally good. Most of them were about 9.8/10

Occitan languages are basically all latin dialects from the southern half of france + catalonia + north eastern italy. It is not a language. they all share similarities and roots... but there is no unity. Like my dialect would be Provençal but nobody speaks it, my grandma speaks it a bit and uses a lot of Provençal words.... Catalans have made their catalan dialect official in spain... that part, roussillon, in france is very small.. basically the largest and only city is Perpignan which is just 120k inhabitants... and there is no real independence shit going on, or just slightly but no one heas about it.
Not like on the atlantic side of the frnch spanish boder with the basques.... the french basque country is quite large, and the basque claims clearly includes the french and spanish part. Honestly, spanish catalans don't give a shit about french catalans.

If I knew Duk just wanted to upset you I would never have participated. Maybe tee gee can delete this whole topic.

Have you tried the new Presidents' Choice Flexitarian burgers? They just introduced them. Introductory price was 98 cents for a box of 4 burgers. I imagine it will be 7.99 once they get the line off the ground. I bought 8 boxes. Would have bought 20 if I had a bigger freezer.
