I know what you mean but if the chef disguised it well enough people will confidently choose none.

Should there just be a question mark on the zero option or do you figure it needs an extra choice for folks that have an uneasy feeling?

i think an entirely new option would be best. "unknown", perhaps?

Maybe both but I'm undecided about the wording and it kind of harms the apearence as a parody.

Perhaps, "I never ate any on purpose." ?

I have never knowingly eaten cat, although I have knowingly eaten dog. It was nothing special, there are far better meats.

When I was a teenager there was one Chinese restaurant in our small town. My family had takeout once and we all agreed it sucked compared to similar type of restaurants in the city we'd lived in prior.

About 10 years later after I'd move away my sister sent me a news article from the local paper about how this restaurant had been shut down after it was discovered they were serving cat, and that there was video evidence of them luring feral cats to the back kitchen entrance (apparently this operation had been going on for years) and then the cats would disappear.

So I have never knowingly eaten cat, but I might have once and I'm proud to say I thought it sucked!

Do you need to eat the whole cat for it to count or just part of it?

I think eating like at least 20% of a cat would be a good baseline/threshold.

disagree. i think chewing/swallowing/digesting one fork/spoonful of cat would constitute having "eaten" cat. just my $0.02, tho...*shrugs*

Hmmm, well I would count that as having eaten 7.2 cats but these things really should have been ironed out by the OP before posting the survey.

I figure if you ate any portion of a cat it can count as one.

If you have been eating "pork" at a place that was exposed as using cat, it is ok if you would rather continue thinking you never ate any cat meat.

If you eat some cat there's no need to eat the entire thing, claws, fur etc. you may count it as a whole one or you may wait until you eat more meat to count it. if you feel like you need to use a scale to calculate how many cats you have eaten that's fine too.

So when I order Chicken McNuggets and they all come from the same monotonous paste from concentrate, so I can't tell how many cats are in there, how many should I count?
