So far the only evidence for life on Venus is the phosphine gas. There's only a 25% chance of that indicating life (extremely rough estimate) as there are a variety of non-living processes (like various geological activities) that might account for it.
Phosphine is incredibly toxic, and so few have ever smelled it and survived. Those that have agree that it's one of the most foul-smelling substances imaginable. One survivor described it as "what the diapers of Satan's lovechild probably smell like." In summary, I voted mrswdk.

who said it was a life based on carbon though?
