The US Justice Department has ruled that Yale University has been discriminating against Asian students who apply to its undergraduate courses:

Just another example of the barriers Chinese face in trying to live a regular life in America.

First sentence in the article... “The US Justice Department has accused Yale University of illegally discriminating against Asian American and white applicants in its undergraduate admissions process.“

Interesting how the title of your thread and the context of the article vary.

Also interesting how people of Asian descent are called “Asian Americans” and people of European descent are called “white” and not “European Americans”. Can we agree that whatever labeling system we use should be standardized?

So everyone should be either...
Native American
African American
European American
Asian American
Latin American
etc.

OR people should be...
Red
Black
White
Yellow
Brown
etc.

In the same sentence you should use one formula/method and not two different labeling schemes.

(Also, why do we feel the need to label people? Different question... I suppose we need some way to identify and correct injustice, but doesn’t the labeling in some way perpetuate injustice?)

Yeah, it's dumb how white people are just 'Americans' while anyone who isn't white is first and foremost defined by the fact they aren't white.

Yes...but it’s funny that even when he agrees with me he phrases it in a way that a casual reader may interpret as contradictory.

I know he understood me... but he’s writing it with the effect of implying that I was disagreeing with him.
Someone jumping in fresh might assume I was opposed to that view.

Correct. It was not 'these Asians and whites' who said Yale is biased, it was the US Department of Justice who said Yale is biased. Which you already know, because you acknowledged that during your first attempt at trolling this thread (here).

The “structural racism” you’re complaining about in the OP is completely different than the “structural racism” you’re saying exists in the judicial and welfare and foreign policy systems.

In fact the “racism” the article talks about is Affirmative Action policy and is/was designed to redress the racism you’re complaining about now. You realize you can’t do have it both ways right? You can’t ‘100% equal access’ if you don’t somehow weight the system. In time the educational and economic differences in the classes may subside, but you can’t get there overnight and without breaking a few eggs.

... it’s very easy for China to have no racism when everyone is Chinese. Forget the fact that they push various ethnic and religion minorities to the fridges of their society as part of the policy of the system.

In this case you are confusing opposite sides of an issue and complaining about both.

Also, you haven’t corrected the OP title. If you want to claim they are racist against Asians you should also include the fact that “whites” are also being discriminated against. It seems you like to ignore parts of the article that don’t fit your narrative.
