Basically:

  • Exams were scrapped this year because virus
  • All schools/colleges instead estimated the grades they think students would have gotten
  • The exam body has then reviewed/altered those grades based on both the past performance of the pupil and the overall past performance of the school/college they attend
  • Pupils in private schools, regular schools and vocational colleges appear to have had a different chance of their grade going up, down or staying the same following that calculation (because private schools tend to get better exam results and vocational colleges worse)
  • So some poorer pupils have likely been penalised unfairly on account of the school they go to while some rich pupils have seen their grades inflated

Probably not a surprise that the government managed to f*ck this up having already fucked up its COVID response and killed tens of thousands of old people/slashed a few % points off the economy in the process.

Will this speed up the UK's willingness to start having government leaders recruited to their posts based on decades of competent administration instead of based on an X Factor-style popularity contest? Probably not. Will things just continue getting worse until people in the UK get all angry and elect a fascist dictator who then takes it into a war with the EU? Probably.

I think it's where she is wearing a push up bra that makes em look bigger until it comes off to reveal an A cup would have done the job.

very disappointing. although, if one was patient, it just might pay off 15-20 years down the road?

That seems fair to me. It's probably safe to say a score of X at school 1 is not the same as a score of X at school 2. You'd be penailizing students for attending high performing schools if everything was apples to apples.

I don't understand what they had to cancel A levels. The US still had SAT exams. I realize they're different tests, A levels are knowledge tests and SATs are IQ tests but that shouldn't matter for test administration. Or do A levels all have to occur on the same day?

My buddy seems to be promoting BTM though.

Yeah, same exact time and day (because the paper taken by every pupil is the exact same).

And now the Government has given in and told pupils they can all have the grades their teachers predicted they'd get instead of the grades that the algorithm gave them.

So now there'll be a lot more English teachers like Ms. McBrearty as students queue to get the best "predictive" grades possible.

Thanks, Obama!

#1 That’s a UK Teacher... so why “Thanks Obama”?

#2 If my teachers looked like her I’d go for extra credit too!
Come on... you’re a 15yo boy, of course you are “all in”.

sexual activity with a child while in a position of trust
,
I know the missionary, the doggy, 69, hot seat, wheelbarrow... but I don't know the "position of trust".

#1 That's jonesthecurl, so why "Thanks Obama"?

#2 If my teachers looked like him I'd be putting myself in a position of trussed too!
Come on... they're young boys so they obviously want it.

If you had to have sex with two people whose combined ages = 21, what two ages would you pick and why?

inb4 saxi asks if he can pick three people.

I would pick a really hot 21 year old chick who was pregnant. That is the best solution to your riddle I could come up with.

Your dick must be pretty long if you're expecting you could penetrate an unborn baby in the womb.

Given how small it is you would probably kill it in the process. Hope you're happy with yourself, murderer.

IMO I can be having sex with 'two people' without penetrating the baby, also I would probably enter the 21 year olds butthole because the baby's safety is my primary, secondary, concern.

It’s not sex without penetration. If simply being sexually excited in someone else’s presence counted as ‘having sex’ saxi’s body count would be at least double figures by now.

What if I don't penetrate the baby, but I did enter the woman vaginally and I came on the baby's face. Would that count? I personally would consider coming on a persons face as a sexual act.
