Should the White House be renamed?

Obviously the name 'White House' can no longer remain in place, in an era where people have woken up and said 'no' to racism. It is clearly no longer acceptable to have the national president living in a house whose name asserts white dominance and social hegemony.

But what should the house be known as instead?

I vote White House. It’s actually white and it’s kinda a house.

European Americans aren’t ‘white’, they’re various shades of peach, pink, tan, etc.
African Americans aren’t ‘black’ either... they’re various shades of mahogany, brown, etc.

Here’s an idea... let’s stop calling people ‘white and black’.
That seems to follow reality a bit more accurately.

Too similar. There's already another presidential residence called ORANGE ONE.

1600 Pennsylvania Avenue

Won't work.

Pennsylvania Avenue is named after Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania is named after William Penn.

William Penn owned slaves.
