Breonna to get JUSTICE

The police have finally seen sense and fired the murdering pig who gunned Breonna Taylor (a well-respected EMT) down in her own bedroom during a no-knock raid:

In a letter to Mr Hankison published by the Courier-Journal paper, Louisville Police interim chief Robert Schroeder wrote his conduct was "a shock to the conscience" that "demands your termination".

Mr Hankison is accused of "blindly" firing 10 rounds into Ms Taylor's apartment, displaying "an extreme indifference to the value of human life".

"I am alarmed and stunned you used deadly force in this fashion," Mr Schroeder added.

"The result of your action seriously impedes the Department's goal of providing the citizens of our city with the most professional law enforcement agency possible. I cannot tolerate this type of conduct by any member of the Louisville Metro Police Department."

Are the days of badges giving barbarians free license to behave as violent pig oppressors finally coming to an end in the US?

How come the sole source you are siting recently appears to BBC?
What does the BBC have against American?

I wonder why, since I’m sure the BBC Worldwide and BBC America generate a lot of revenue for them... you’d think they’d be kinder.

BBC is reputable enough, but if you want a purely American perspective, here you go:
https://www.npr.org/2020/06/04/869930040/as-the-nation-chants-her-name-breonna-taylors-family-grieves-a-life-robbed
Before she was a hashtag or a headline, before protesters around the country chanted her name, Breonna Taylor was a 26-year-old woman who played cards with her aunts and fell asleep watching movies with friends.

That changed on March 13, when police officers executing a no-knock warrant in the middle of the night killed her in her apartment in Louisville, Ky.

Now, as protesters around the country have taken up her name in their call for racial justice and an end to police violence, Taylor's friends and family remember the woman they knew and loved: someone who cared for others and loved singing, playing games, cooking and checking up on friends.

BBC is the only source I read, apart from stuff I see on Reddit that I then have to verify across like 2-3 different sources.

What's unkind about simply giving a factual report of something that has happened recently?

1. It's not justice until they get jail time. Her family better not be paying for their pensions, neither.
2. I think jimbo was making an oblique reference to the fact that some people object to using American sources for international news.

At least Mrs actually uses sources, rather than just their gut feelings Jim.

I was really just objecting to any source mrswdk uses.
