Boeing update: another crash :(

Which plane company is capable of having an aviation mishap during the unprecedented grounding of the world's airline fleets? Boeing is!

Frustrated by a lack of opportunities to make shoddy civilian planes, Boeing has resorted to making shoddy military planes instead:

A US Air Force pilot is missing after a fighter jet crashed into the North Sea.

The F-15C Eagle, from the 48th Fighter Wing at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk, crashed shortly after 0940 BST while on a training mission.

A single F-15C Eagle costs about 30million USD, plus an additional 6million USD to train the pilot.

Incidentally, you could build and staff two entire schools in America for a total of 1,248 black pupils for that money - with spare change. And given the schools wouldn't have been built by Boeing, we can be reasonably confident the schools wouldn't just plummet into the sea killing everyone inside a year later!

Is this thread libel?

I don't know the serial number of the airframe but I suspect it was not produced by Boeing.

The page on Boeing's website where they brag about how it's them that manufacture this death trap:

I think Polaris bought the rights to make Scouts but I would not grant them credit for mr, Monro's records.

That aircraft was probably older than the pilot.

So the USAAF is full of creaky old Wright Brothers planes, built in Boeing's Sri Lankan sweat shops then flown by children?

That Nine Dash Line is looking safer and safer by the day!

NO, the USA has like 500 awesome, shining new aircraft (the F-22s and F-35s) and 1500 creaky old Wright Brothers planes flown by the grandchildren of the original test pilots (i.e. the B-52s).

mrswdk wrote:That Nine Dash Line is looking safer and safer by the day!

Most of those ancient planes are operated by the National Guard for domestic air defense; Oregon doesn't need more than a few old F-15s to defend itself against Mexico - they'll still outclass an F-4 or F-5 or whatever model flying enchilada stand they're operating. They're just useless against UFOs -- https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/1 ... scrambling

And how much money does China spend on Defense? OH, right, state secret, unlike USA.

Also, how many schools could that money build for Tibetans, instead of for Chinese warplanes?

And Chinese Society has NO PROBLEMS, I forgot. BTW; Did they shut down the Central Market in Beijing?

Hyperbole: NO planes used to defend "statues.'' Again, mrswdk overstates his/her case. Typical; no surprise there.

Is there even ONE Chinese built plane this old?

Again, ANOTHER False narrative by the new frequent poster.

The single-seat F-15C has been used by the U.S. Air Force for more than 40 years, and more than 200 remain in active service.

why do they quote data from 2010 and not more recent data?

Sounds like the delay on info from China on the Coronavirus, a TAD late in being reported......

It's a dead link cited on a Wikipedia article that has only been updated once in the last five years.

Why is jp posting completely off-topic nonsense in a thread dedicated to the very serious and fatal crash that claimed the life of a USAF pilot just weeks ago? Has he no respect for the dead?
