What's happening in the video?

Careful btw, everyone knows the only people in the world who disapprove of the American police are people paid to shitpost online by the Chinese government.

So you just live there beside the traffic circle now? I did not see the tazer.

I just saw someone getting pulled over.

Interesting... something I’d tell my wife or buddy.

I wouldn’t record it... you got a dash cam?

Wrong.

People who care about civil liberties disapprove of police overreach in all countries.

The fact that you try to make these things some kind of pissing match between China and the U.S. is entirely your problem. It's your credibility that is weakened by pretending that in order for one to be wrong, the other should somehow be right.

I despise police thuggery wherever it happens, be it Moscow or Toulon or Johannesburg or Minneapolis or Hong Kong or Rangoon.

Yeah dash cam 24/7 recording in 20 second segments..

I should of probably put up the next one showing them getting arrested.

Cops don't normally don't put guns or tasers on people they pull over here, not even when they arrest them, unless they produce a weapon first.

Another good reason for Australia to cease being an American vassal state pronto.

Let’s pretend for a second we accept your statement as truth... that Australia is a “Vassal State” of the USA... at least in a modern sense.

In what way does this video or TeeGee’s comments indicate a reason why this would be bad?

All we see is a car getting pulled over... albeit somewhat aggressively.
We have NO KNOWLEDGE about why they’re being pulled over or what happens just prior to this video.

Then we have TeeGee’s comments saying that “Cops DON’T normally put guns or tasers on people they pull over or arrest.
This seems like a good thing.

I’m sure that is true in the USA... that cops DON’T normally put guns or tasers on people they pull over or arrest.
I would bet huge money that the % of time guns or tasers are pulled for traffic stops is tiny... less than 1%.
I would bet huge money that the % of time guns or tasers are pulled for arrests is also tiny.

I personally have been stopped for traffic violations numerous times... 10-15?
I have been arrested once (for tresspasing) and put in PC once.
I have had many many other interactions with police.... just conversations or what not (I worked at a Donut Shop).
Never once in any interaction has a police ever pulled a gun.

I think TeeGee’s comments are more likely proof of the OPPOSITE idea you are trying to perpetrate on us.

I think we should all club together and buy jim some driving lessons for his birthday.

That’d be funny... if it wasn’t just a lame attempt to avoid acknowledging the fact that your previous point/joke was shot down.

I’m from Boston. Getting pulled over for speeding is a rite of passage.

... it’s also a number that’s meaningless unless you factor in other variables;
- where you drive / what part of the world, what country, rural/urban, etc.
- how long you’ve been driving
- how many miles you drive annually / in total

Nowadays (well pre-covid) I was averaging 40K+ per year for the last few years.
I haven’t been under 25K basically since I graduated from college and entered the workforce.

Nice retort.

You accuse me of avoiding the point, but you continue to prove yourself the master of this tactic.
Especially when the ground you stand on sinks around you.
(Which is fairly common.)

Huh. I've been in cars here for almost 57 years. Never had a gun or tazer pointed at me.

Sounds like you ozzies are pretty aggressive

Does everyone carry due to all the shit that's trying to kill you 100% of the time? Killer roos, wild dingos, man eating spiders, poisonous 10 foot caterpillars? *shudders*

I guess you missed Jim Jeffreys. Him told us how the Aussies gleefully turned in their guns.

Dingo, funnel web spider, etc. comes at you? Head butt!

Then say, "Oi, bugger off mate."

I don't know about Australia but I'm guessing as a commonwealth it's the same as here, don't bring your Tazers if you visit.

In Canader Tazers are a restricted weapon. You might get in more trouble than if you brought a rifle.

The police are allowed to carry them on their Batman Utility Belts.

You can't even have nunchucks here. You have to be 18 to buy BB guns or pepper spray for bears.

Really? wow. There's shocky tazer like things everywhere for sale here. Never seen the use so know nothing about them. If I had one I just KNOW I'd be tempted to self test it drunk some time and I've heard horror stories about that

I'm guessing you just didn't know. I remember guys talking about it in the 1970s. I also remember guys making them later in high school.

Huh, I was guessing at least a few years earlier. Maybe someone said they were illegal to keep the kid from asking for a pair. Or possibly because they knew a ban was going to happen soon.

No Tazers allowed here

BB Guns are illegal too

If I want a gun, 1st I have to join a gun club or live on a large farm, then I have to buy 2 safes, 1 for the gun and the other for the ammunition. They can not be in the same room and the gun can not be loaded.

I will see if I have the next video on the dash cam still, thought that one was 2 clips together, but they got out of the car with their hands up.. no struggles.
