Oregon also donated ventilators to New York ... the ventilators Oregon donated were the portion it had previously been allocated by President Trump from the Strategic National Stockpile (in other words, this was a political move by the Governor of Oregon --- demand ventilators from the US government thereby denying NY those ventilators, then turn around and give those same ventilators to New York to score some positive PR with no actual cost or sacrifice to Oregon)

3. The Trump Administration donated 36,000 pounds of medical equipment to the PRC in January, which has never been paid back

The 1,000 from China seem to be in some state of doubt about the exact origins. And once American production is ramped up, I predict seeing ventilators in yard sales. That will happen when the glut occurs.

btw: New York state got the vast majority of ventilators from the Federal Government.
