There I go writing partial information as usual, sorry.

The World of Wheels is the big annual indoor car show here.

Some custom show cars and some high end restorations travel around ( that's why I was thinking as if everyone knew what it is ) they set up on a Friday then on Sunday they move to the next city.

Local guys also enter their cars, Sunday afternoon there are awards.

It was more fun this year because there were about a dozen of us and it was mostly guys I used to hang out with doing car stuff in the 1990s.

My son and his wife came down for a visit. We turned back the clock 40 years and played a game that didn't involve any computers! Cool shit!

:D

Edited because it seems obvious the game was Risk by Hasbro and my crappy joke probably sounded mean in text form.

Have a nice week Duk.

Nice.

Yeah we don't have one of those but there is a wealthy eccentric guy with a huge collection of survivor cars here. He does allows small groups to tour his hangars for a twenty dollar donation to charity.

Have you been to the museum in Tacoma they built because a guy like that died? Even my wife and offspring enjoyed that one.

The curlson and co are here (looking for accommodation locally). Found a fine Indian restaurant in our new town on Friday, took the curlsonette to a pool yesterday. She's absolutely fearless in the water, which required keeping a VERY close eye as she can't quite swim yet.

City public pool rules.

The pools here started making a big deal of keeping children within arms length. Ok, probably a good idea if they can't swim.

So about eight years ago I was pretty feeble, recovering from back issues, sometimes walking was difficult, I could sort of swim. My son for some reason really took to swimming and after his first session of lessons he could easily do a few lengths of the pool.

I take him, his sister and her friend swimming. On the way in based on age, the lady taking money says, "You need to keep him at arms length at all times." Pointing at my som. I said, "Why? He is an excellent swimmer but I doubt he is strong enough to pull me out of the water if I get in trouble."

Once we were in the pool the lifeguards did not have any problem with him going off the diving boards into the deep water because it was obvious he was a strong swimmer.

I still find that story amusing.
