Imperfect people can still make the world a better place. I wonder what Jesus was up to between impressing scholars at the synagogue and his miracles which was around a 20 year gap. The patriarchs of the Bible vis-a-vis God's commands were xenophobic as shit. Thou shalt not kill but then he orders his people to go ahead with that killing thing... We as the west engage in, "constant gardening" AKA killing to pull the weeds of the world who may try to kill our fruit/plants
Well-known stories and leaders are symbols which when focused on correctly, are extremely helpful
Humans are imperfect. It's up to society to ensure we follow what's helpful to make our reality and community better
