Mexicans spread fake news

Mexicans are credited with starting a viral trend based on false information, pseudoscience and lies:

The #broomchallenge has people all over the world photographing and filming their brooms standing upright without any support.

Many people have cited Nasa as the inspiration to do this, and/or posted claims of gravitational or celestial phenomena as the reason behind the balancing brooms.

However, the space agency does not appear to have made any public statement about the Earth's gravitational effect on brooms.

Freestanding brooms have nothing to do with planetary alignments, the full moon, or gravitational pulls, despite the claims of some social media users.

The earliest uses of #broomchallenge this year were from users in Mexico around 4 February.

This time last year, a lynch mob was murdering two people in Mexico after Whatsapp was used to spread lies that they were child abducters:

According to this graph, "Internet" is not a trusted news source. Therefore, links to the BBC are not to be trusted, only radio waves from Broadcasting House.

by what,me worry?
Those in Mexico spread their truth via propaganda just like those in the U.S.A

Were all selfish and have our own truth. There is no universal moral truth

In the end, we just want what's best for us and they want what's best for their population

I doubt slaves ever wanted the best for their abusive masters
