Court: Obama Illegally Used FBI to Spy on Trump Campaign

The chief justice of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court has concluded the Obama-controlled FBI illegally spied on the Trump 2016 presidential campaign. According to a review, the Obama FBI lied to the court to obtain search warrants and, in the absence of those lies, the warrants never would have been granted. Judge Boasberg, who issued the ruling, was appointed by Obama in 2010 to the federal bench and unanimously confirmed by the Senate so he is beyond reproach.
... two of the four court orders allowing the FBI to conduct secret national security surveillance on former Trump campaign aide Carter Page were not valid because the government made "material misstatements" in obtaining them, according to a newly declassified judicial order.
The disclosure by James Boasberg, the top judge on the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, underscores the extent to which the FBI bungled its handling of a highly sensitive case, a failure that is continuing to have serious policy and political repercussions.
So Obama used his office to try to dig up dirt on a political rival.

1. Obama is a Democrat, Trump is a Republican 2. Obama endorsed the person running against Trump 3. Obama and his wife, Mitch, appeared at rallies encouraging people to vote for a person other than Trump 4. Obama's landmark piece of legislation named after him has been called for repeal by Trump etc., etc.
