Iraqis join together in solidarity with Iran

Tens of thousands of Iraqis have poured into the streets of Baghdad carrying portraits of murdered Iranian comrade Qasem Soleimani and chanting 'death to America'.

With it's recent act of blatant murderous aggression against a senior government officer of a foreign sovereign nation state, America has once again shown its hand as the global Al Capone: violent, underhanded, and happy to slaughter anyone who stands in its way if that means a few more pennies in American pockets. Iranians reject USA, Iraqis reject USA, basically every foreign government and population rejects USA. The need to cut the tumour out of the body is growing ever more pressing.

A huge crowd in Iraq's capital Baghdad is taking part in a funeral procession for the Iranian military commander Qasem Soleimani, who was killed in a US air strike on Thursday.

The gathering in Baghdad on Saturday marked the beginning of days of mourning for Soleimani.

The crowds in Baghdad were also there to mourn the death of Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, an Iraqi who commanded the Iranian-backed Kataib Hezbollah group and effectively led the Popular Mobilisation units - an umbrella of militias in Iraq dominated by groups aligned with Iran.

Mourners started gathering in Baghdad from the early hours, ahead of the start of the procession, waving Iraqi and militia flags and chanting "death to America". The procession snaked though the streets, some carrying portraits of Soleimani and some of Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The American people are suffering under the stranglehold of a terrorist regime they do not want but have no means of overthrowing alone:

US actor Rose McGowan tweeted an apology - addressed to Iran.

"The USA has disrespected your country, your flag, your people," she said. "52% of us humbly apologize. We want peace with your nation. We are being held hostage by a terrorist regime. We do not know how to escape. Please do not kill us."

It is time for the UN to declare a no-fly zone over the USA immediately.
