Just figured I'd get some decent conversation going on here for a change.

Meat Rendering

Some claim you can make 'em vegan if that's your thing. Don't even need to use embryos.

You could even load them with cucumber slices.

Would skydiving be less controversial?

If I were to sky dive I'd take one and get one of my crazy sky diving buddies to fold me eating it while plunging towards earth!

As if it's not bad enough that most brands of weiner are stuffed with disgusting carbohydrate-based fillers, now they wrap the whole thing in this monstrous layer of pure carb. And it's not even some remotely-defensible whole-grain carb, but superprocessed commercial carb. Not the slightest redeeming quality. It's like popping a piece of ancient Gomorrah in your mouth.

Again with the negative waves. Why can't we just eat some carbs and enjoy this righteous sunshine?

abs are made in the kitchen dimey, if you want to have a six pack you need to watch your carbs.

Made a big ol batch of these just yesterday....

Did you make your own dough?

Way back when anyone I was around made bread, every time it was incredible, especially warm out of the oven.

Now my wife makes bread and sometimes it's really good other times even fresh it's just barely ok. The consistency is gone.

I think there are too many options now for ingredients.

I use my bread machine to make the dough. Also for pizzas, calzones, etc.

We also sometimes just use the tube croissant dough to be lazy...

There is probably some junk in the tubes but no worse than any commercial bread.

I know they will be consistent though and I'm no baker that's for sure.

Dukasaur what if you get a good quality wiener and wrap it with cabbage or eggplant or something?

No, definitely not wrapped. Weiners by themselves, yeah, not bad. Not as good as many other types of sausage, but not bad. But wrapping them up in bread ruins what little they have going for them.
