Now HERE is a proper 16 year old girl making real change in the world (at the time).

Joan of Arc was being used.

From misguided patriotism, she helped crown the thieving, philandering, duplicitous Charles VII, a man so universally despised that his own children refused to come to his deathbed and waited in foreign lands until they were sure he was dead.

When he no longer needed her help, Charles sent Joan off on a fool's errand in a losing battle, leading to her capture and hideous execution. If that isn't being used, I don't know what is.

How Greta's story will end, I cannot say. I'm pretty sure, though, that her supporters will not send her off to be murdered by their enemies.

Joan of Arc whined & complained about France being invaded.. Made Threats & rode a fancy white horse to any battle she wanted too..

Actually... any of these legends that include a pastor girl meeting the virgin Mary and doing something for the world. Gosh that story is so overused. My guess is that people would use uneducated young girls dressing up as the virgin mary and apearing in remote places.

She probably wasn't a virgin. Just some girl who had an affair and then came up with a wild cover story that got completely out of hand.

I don't see any evidence that she was " being used." There simply isn't any need for her in the first place. She doesn't whine about things, she took charge of things.
