I am also pleased to hear that Hong Kong's administration is going to revive old laws handed down to it by the British and ban the wearing of full face masks at protests in the city region (much as full faces masks are currently banned at protests in the UK).
Maybe once protesters have their full faces on show, the violent and disruptive elements among them will quit hurling petrol bombs and vandalizing government buildings and return to either a) peaceful protest and dialogue or b) go home and find another outlet for their unrelated anxiety about Hong Kong's tightening economic situation for young people.
The Chinese city learning something from its European friends about how to minimise civilian unrest. All hail Sino-Anglo cooperation now and for many years to come!
