The World Trade Organization will rule in favor of the United States and authorize President Trump's request to punish the European Union by imposing tariffs against it after finding the EU guilty of illegally subsidizing Airbus.

The President has said the US will initially set the tariff rate against the EU at 100% with the possibility of increasing it above 100% if the EU does not comply with United States orders.

The United States has won the right to hit the EU with billions of euros in punitive tariffs by winning a dispute over subsidies to aerospace giant Airbus, four EU officials told POLITICO.

A World Trade Organization dispute settlement panel on Friday sent the confidential ruling to the European Commission and the United States Trade Representative, the officials said.

The United States invented human flight and is known for the highest quality aircraft in the world. In order to get people to buy inferior Airbus product, the EU has been illegally subsidizing production.

The members of the WTO panel ruling in favor of the United States were:

- Ricardo Ramírez-Hernández (MEXICO)
- Ujal Singh Bhatia (INDIA)
- Peter Van den Bossche (BELGIUM)

Canada, Australia, Japan, Brazil, and Korea were co-signers to the United States dispute against the EU and each submitted amicus briefs in support of the American position, as per President Trump's orders to them.

I don't believe Russia would invade. This sounds more like American propaganda trying to set Europeans vs Russians. Reality is Europe and Russia stand to gain a lot more through deeper cooperation and trade than through war. There are simply too many risks involved for both parties for any sort of large scale conflict.

Washington is scared a Euro-Russian approachment would tip the scales of power. The USA is already losing control over East- and South-east asia, and can't afford to lose control over the Mediterranean as well.

Europe, unfortunately, will soon be the center of a proxy war between a number of powers. The first force will be Islamic forces from the Middle East. The second force will be the China, expanding its influence through the one belt and one road initiative; they have already started to send "security" forces to several key European points of interest. If Europe wants to drop NATO, more power to it. The US can always use deficit reductions. It's highly unlikely that NATO is equipped to handle the internal strife / economic takeover of the coming years anyway.

Nonsense. There are far fewer muslims in Europe than most Americans seem to realize. In Germany current surveys put islam in a mere range between 2.2% and 3.7%. The most recurring argument for an 'islamic invasion' is immigration and the fact that muslim families have more babies than local families. This argument however doesn't take into account Eastern Europeans. The vast majority of all migrants into rich Western- and Northern-Europe are Eastern Europeans, whom also often have large families. Moreover the single strongest grower in Europe is atheism/agnosticism, not islam.

Mentioning China is even more ridiculous as China and the EU actually get along very well. China has only ever showed interest in trade and technology and they have NOT sent "forces to several key European points of interest". They sent some policemen to Belgrade, a minor city not in the EU, and they've bought some real estate in countries like Greece. That's it. They hold no power in the big economic centres of Europe. They hold no force here worth mentioning.

I'm sorry, but your arguments just strengthen my opinion. The USA is the big antagonist trying to incite discord among other nations and blocks.

Also, you think if we managed to disband NATO (quick reminder that the most outspoken enemy of NATO is in the White House - I mean sure it's Putin telling him that, but puppets gonna puppet) you think we'd actually lower our military spending? The assumption that US military spending has anything to do with actual global risks is rather silly, in my opinion - point in fact that it's gone up since the Cold War most sort of ended and the main existential risk to American allies was disbanded.

This is not an armed force representing Muslims intent on invading Europe, which is what Tzor said is literally going to happen.
