Taking one of your made up statistics at random, let's go with.... 'murders'.

The UK's murder rate is and always has been significantly lower than the US's:

Source for your stats?

And do these stats account for how the two countries determine their stats?
eg The UK has a more broad definition of sexual assault compared to the US, which often leads people to assume that the UK has a higher rate of sexual assaults than the US among people who do not understand how stats are calculated.

If anybody's wondering, he's getting his numbers from nationmaster.com
It should also be pointed out that in many of these lists both the UK and the USA are poor performers, easily outperformed by countries like Japan or the Netherlands.

NoProblem's murder rate 'statistics' show the UK as having a higher murder rate than the US, but the nationmaster.com figures state that the UK's murder rate is much lower:

obviously Ma'aMDCK doesn't even realize the specific 'Murders / WHO' reference on the stats showing the UK having a higher rate.

here is the link to it..

these stats got members ( admittedly Ma'amDCK was my target on this ) so triggered they actually dug through the internet to find the source....

The UK's murder rate from the link provided by NP is 1.2 per 100,000. NP translates 1.2 into 6.6

maybe next time try actually reading the stat. you have to scroll down to United Kingdom . it's ranked #83.. ( and it says 6.6 )

the Australian Brilliance on full display. banning guns doesn't make them smarter . .that's clearly evident..

and it is wrong. Click on the UK link and you'll see that the UK murder rate is 11.68 per 1,000,000 or 1.17 per 100,000

The numbers in the detail just don't tally with the headline rate.

In 2017 there were 719 murders (homicides) in the UK for a population of approx 65 million. 11.06 per million.

In 2017 there were 17,284 homicides in the US for a population of approx 326 million. 53.2 per million

I know where I'd rather live.

none of that matters .. you directly said "The UK's murder rate from the link provided by NP is 1.2 per 100,000. NP translates 1.2 into 6.6"

you obviously went to a different link. clicked onto another page Keefie..

you are changing the parameters of the stat I provided..
so I was correct in the stat that i provided that was posted on the URL link I provided..

if you want to use a different stat. , then that would be a different URL link..

keefie always trying to attack me, but as usual .. fails.

I think when even the website you are using as your source disagrees with you, it's probably time to rethink whether or not you are actually confident about the words you are saying.

NP a few months ago your levels of humour reached the dizzy heights of 5 or maybe 6 out of 10. I'm afraid, of late, you've slumped to 3/10 at best. Please improve, we expect much better of our resident forum trolls..

+1
THANKS kEEFIE… nothing better than a descendant of a Penal Colony calling me a troll!!

but that Prison Educational system needs some work... it is no ones fault except your own you are not intelligent enough to understand the difference between Murders > Homicide & Murders > W.H.O... I figured you guys would know the definitions of criminal activities by heart

you keep referencing Murders > Homicides in general..

the link i provided is for Murders > W.H.O.

Muders > W.H.O. are intentional Homicides
here is the definition for you .. since you cannot comprehend the difference

Murders > W.H.O.
DEFINITION:
Intentional homicide rate is the estimate of intentional homicides in a country as a result of domestic disputes that end in a killing, interpersonal violence, violent conflicts over land resources, inter-gang violence over turf or control, and predatory violence and killing by armed groups. The term, intentional homicide, is broad, but it does not include all intentional killing. In particular, deaths arising from armed conflict are usually considered separately. The difference is usually described by the organisation of the killing. Individuals or small groups usually commit homicide, whereas the killing in armed conflict is usually committed by more or less cohesive groups of up to several hundred members. Two main sources of data are presented: criminal justice (law enforcement) measures (this series), supplemented by data from national statistical agencies, and measures from public health sources (see other intentional homicide series). These various sources measure slightly different phenomena and are therefore unlikely to provide identical numbers.".

If you're specifically interested in intentional homicides then why not use nationmaster's page of data on intentional homicides? Their page on intentional homicide rates says:

USA: 4.7 per 100,000
UK: 1.17 per 100,000

Incidentally it also says that Australia's rate is 1.16, so apparently living on an island inhabited solely by the descendants of dangerous criminals (your words) is safer than living in good ol' USA.
