had a conversation with the guy who works at the post office today about trump's 'racist' tweet. he said it was Racist.
I asked why..
he said "because he said ' go back to your country'.. "
I asked him how that was racist... Trump didn't name anyone specific nor reference any race.
he said " because he named the one lady who was not born here" ( he didn't even know her name...)
I informed him " no he didn't he simply said 'they" should go back to their country, if your suggesting he was referring to Ilhan Omar. how is saying she should go back to Somalia and fix it then come back racist?"
he said.. --> ' because he was referring to Somalia"
I laughed for about 15 seconds right in his face then looked at him and asked. " are you saying Somalian is a race of people?"
he said "yes , of course it is.. "
as I continued to laugh . I asked him. " so Canadian is also a race then?
he replied. " yes"..
