Weren't they?
i honestly have no idea, but i'd assume that the agencies would require employees to be of legal age and provide some semblance of proof of that, no?
Agencies need to cover their ass, so they do ask for proof-of-age to be on file.
If, however, someone provides fake ID, they are quite happy to pretend they don't know.
Ok first... There are legit model agencies, and then there are escort agencies that call themselves model agencies like say for instance Mynt Models. The term model agency doesn't mean much lol. Look up OC models. Their site says in BIG FONT - WE DON"T HIRE OUT ESCORTS, but then all the model pictures are naked porn stars. You don't have to be brilliant to figure out those words are there just for legal liability reasons. Also, sex with an escort is illegal in the US, but technically if you film sex with an escort it's no longer illegal because you are making a porn film. Isn't that crazy!?!
Secondly... Let's say you run a legit model agency, and most of your work is above board and it's just modeling. There is nothing illegal about using girls under 18 for legit modelling jobs.
Thirdly... let's say you run a legit operation, commercial invoices, payment by check... super above-board...but some super rich clients offer you a suitcase full of cash to bring some of you 'models' to a 'party' they are throwing. the girls know 'the deal' because they are getting paid 10x what they normally do for a modelling job. If some aren't down they don't go, others need the money or are just curious what old man penis looks like so they go.
Now say the client starts using your girls frequently for 'parties', and hes making you alot more money then the legit jobs you find for most of your girls, plus it's all cash so it' always off the books... but this client has a friend that likes to party with a slightly younger crowd, and says this time there is an extra suitcase filled with money for the agent if he brings some girls that are below 18... can't you picture this agency owner finding his best customer what he wants? Is that such a stretch?
This is all a hypothetical and I'm not pointing to any company or trump or anyone, I'm just saying I know this is how it works in the real world. frankly it's starting to sound like Epstien didn't need any 'help' from an agency to find underage girls, but rather was inside the 'organizing ring' of all this himself. But to me, none of this should be shocking... and the idea proof of age would be a hurdle for people of this level of wealth just seems naive to me Llama.
