Without a sea port: controlled, operated and with access to the Mediterranean the Palestinians economy will never start kicking. A small / medium airstrip would also help but Israel will likely never be OK with that either. Just about every bad economy gets turned around by tourism. Let the boats and fights happen and the Palestinians will have something to loose and likely fire less rockets.

Where is Trump going to steal the 50 Billion dollars from? Domestic programs that help senior citizens and the working poor?

The OP is stating the $$$ (investment) isn't enough. Access, freedom of movement to import, export, is critical of get the economy moving.

the Palestinian leadership has said they want no part of it...*shrugs*.
