Dark Phoenix.. - it's alright.. worth paying for at leastt

Postby NomadPatriot on Wed Jun 05, 2019 11:40 pm

just got through watching this flick..

it's good.. story flows good .. decent writing.. a few stupid "girl power' moments where the women feel the need to openly talk down to & about men.. ( which was 100% un-needed) but if you can ignore those.. it is decently good..

I give it a 8.8 out of 10..

could have been a little darker.. heroes do die... but the storyline is the same ol' basic X-Men theme... with no branching subplots or emphasis

( opinion being given from a 30 year veteran comic book collector...)

Did you at least give your mom change when you got back before curfew?

Did you call him daddy or sugar daddy Nomad? Do you ask him to wear a rubber? You seem very pro rubber in the other thread.

Urban Dictionary

Mookie
13: A pussy whipped subservient male. A man who sports a beard and takes orders from his wife. Man-bitch

23: One of those guys that is ALWAYS driving girls around, taking them to parties, starbucks, etc.
The girl has no interest in the guy at all besides "friends", but the guy (mookie) thinks otherwise.
Most mookies are straight up tools and think they are sweet, but really no one likes them

Well I guess when you link to Page 7 of definitions of a term on urban dictionary you dredged through enough content you should have been able to find something you liked the sound of.

I'm more partial to this one found on the very first page of the search you ran:

Sista Curves & B Money September 20, 2010 wrote:2. a fine ass man who looks extremely sexy

But I will readily admit the actual derivation of my nickname Mookie was most accurately described in definition #7 (also on the very first page):

mooks on mooks on mooks November 23, 2011 wrote:7.
After adding American tobacco to a bowl of weed, you take a fat snap. once/if/when the mookie bowl is inhaled, the lucky smoker begins the journey, f*ck it. so you've inhaled the smoke, you're feeling that overwhelming sense of light-headed-ness and euphoria- now your on mookie island
Bridget: Hey bro you want a snap of this mokie?

Bro: Idk what the f*ck a mokie is but I'm down for a mookie bowl, that shit gets me Faaaaded

If you don’t know who Rob Downey is... you’re either a liar or an idiot.

Why don’t you use Google?

You might not use Google, but Google uses you.
