Army vet lost 44 pounds only drinking beer for Lent, inspired by monks.

Beer helped build the pyramids and made agriculture possible. Beer had nutrients, vitamins and minerals that kept the poor masses heathy.

Beer is not just for breakfast anymore.

Yeah, but the beer that helped build the pyramids was unfiltered beer, with the yeast still in it. Most of the nutrients are in the yeast. In modern times, we filter out the yeast and throw it in the garbage, keeping only the part of the beer that's mostly just water and alcohol with no real nutritional benefit. Sort of like what we do with all our other foods.

Hoegarden and Franziskaner are two that I really enjoy that are unfiltered. You can see all the sediment (yeast) sitting at the bottom of the bottle. Recommended to swirl it around before drinking.
