Since the UK confirmed that it will definitely be ignoring America's attempts to prop up its failing telecoms companies by blackballing Chinese ones, America has turned its attention to Germany:

The US has told Germany it would curb intelligence sharing with Berlin if it allows Huawei to participate in its 5G mobile network.

The irony of America calling Huawei a security risk to Germany's telecomms infrastructure, just a few years after America was caught hacking into Germany Chancellor Angela Merkel's private phone, is not lost on a world tired of America's cynical and shamelessly self-serving extortion.

That is funny, "dont buy that chinese stuff or we are gonna stop spying on you."

Russia is creating its own internet specifically to remove themselves from american intrusion.

I can see that Europe one day would hook up to the Russian net, especially to do business with China.
They already like the silk road idea.

Trump is just another cog, Eisenhower exposed the mic in 1945?6? JFK tried to fix things and he was publicly executed.
The message was "Dont mess with us."
"We dont care who you are" "Mess with us and your dead" and so it has been for longer than most have been alive.

Yeah, Obama was a bit more liked because he could do the cool handshakes but his approach to foreign policy was little different to what came before or what has come since.

Right after the US threatened Germany, the UK and Italy with a , it is now doubling down by issuing the same threat to Israel:

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told me today that if Israel does not limit its ties with China, the U.S. could reduce intelligence sharing and security cooperation.

It's like that scene in Vanilla Sky where Tom Cruise rants angrily at his friend and love interest about how he doesn't need them anyway, as they both walk off and leave him lying alone in the gutter disfigured, angry and sad.

The U.S. threatened Israel, thats kinda funny.

What could Pompeo hope to gain from threatening his masters?
