Nobody watches women's football, there's no big TV deals or sponsorship. If they want true equality then they must play men, but if I remember rightly the Australian national women's team was beaten 8-0 by a team of under 16s boys.

In tennis I believe there's equal pay, even though women's matches are 60% as long as men's matches. That's not equal.

I will tell you the future. Firstly, it will begin in around 10 years where every professional football team must play 1 women, then in 15 years it will go up to 2, it will continue on in this manner until men's football is no more. All working class men's activities must be destroyed.

There was a similar issue here in Belgium. Some members of the Belgian national women's team wanted equal pay to the men's team. However the men's team made more than a million euros in shirt sales, whilst the women's team couldn't even make 10% of that.

Honestly, i don’t think it would be a bad thing that federations pay equally men and women in national team. It would develop quite much the female teams.
The women earn shit all, like in most olympic sports were both men and women earn shit all. Federations get way too much money and more money should be used to help amateur clubs survive.

It’s quite different to ask for equal pay in club sports... mostly because some guys are paid 10 000 times more than some other guys, and some women that are football stars are probably earning more than some shit male players...

And totally agree about tennis. How the f*ck are women getting paid the same when they generate less income, they are less competitive and they don’t get to play in 5 sets? I think female tennis deserves to be boycotted until women get to play in best of 5 like men.

There's women that play rugby here. There's women that go to boxing, I actually quite enjoy watching them spar. If women want to play football that's fine, but don't bring this feminist shit into it. Too late though, the likes of the BBC will push and push the agenda.

I agree that we shouldn't be exclusive of women's issues concerning sports, but I think it would be more productive if the federations were to invest that money in the youth development of young girls, rather than just offering equal pay.

First of all, I do respect the NFL- it made a genuine effort over the last few years to beg its fans and players to stop beating up women. Million dollar ad campaigns to just get American football folk to just maybe not beat the living hell out of girlfriends, wives, friends. That was obviously a big step for the NFL, and a message that they felt needed to be sent. Literally, that beating up women is wrong. It's good that the American version of football said that.

Now real football, I mean football that's mostly foot vs ball, as opposed to having a special team do that... actually the US is pretty good, and does the US proud. They don't even have to tell people to stop beating up women.

You missed the point. I don't mind women playing football or any sport, like I've already said. It's when the left/feminists get on their high horse and start demanding equality of pay. It just doesn't generate the revenue here in Britain. So changes will have to be made to subsidise it and later integrate it. I know how the left works, they hate anything that brings working class men together.

Wauuw, what players get from their national team is just a small bonus compared to what they own in their « real «  job, their club.
If women get similar bonuses from their federations for playing for the national team.. and win titles... they should definitely get bonuses close to what men get. It means relatively nothing for men and would mean the world for women.
You can still put money in youth football, but at some point you need to open up some kind of money flow so that the pros develop into something more entertaining

Where did I state things were so much better in 1981? The Hillsborough disaster was down to police stupidity, much like heysel. An under prepared, naive, cowardly Belgian police. I don't give a shit if you want to blame the English 100%, and it wouldn't surprise me as you are narrow minded.
