I can't believe that something like this could be random, I'm sure the perps will have some connection to the victims family.

Unfortunately unprovoked attacks are not uncommon. The Knockout game is a fun one to play on white people. For some reason white people cannot play it unless they are the ones being knocked out.

Seems you are right about the perpetrators knowing the victim. They are an asylum seekers from Afghanistan. The couple are separated and the attack was by the father of the boy who's not happy about his ex wife no longer wearing a veil.
