Are we all unique?

I say no

Reason: if we are unique then none of us are. we're all unique so we are not unique
A unique person is someone with everything different so if we are allunique then we are not.

I voted yes because as a group we are unique compared to other groups

I've had this argument before about religion. The whole idea of everyone being special in God's eyes sort of cancels it all out - if everyone is special then no-one is special. But that is just too confusing and philisophical... so I will give a simple answer: we are all unique because we are all different

Unique does not mean that EVERYTHING is different, unique means SOMETHING is different. So yes, we all have different things about us. Simply not being the same entity makes each one of us unique.

Yes, yes we are unique. My DNA code, the building blocks of every living thing, is different than yours. Different than any other living thing actually. By definition (Unique: having no like or equal; unparalleled; incomparable ) this makes me unique from anyone else. Sure, my personality or the way I look might be similar to lots of other people, we might fit into stereotypes, but we are still unique.


And to all the people spewing the stupid 'well everyone's unique, so no one is' bullcrap, thats just plain stupid. And pessimisitic. And nobody likes pessimistic people.

There are no two people on this planet who are identical in every aspect, so yes every person is unique in their own special way.

The only people ive ever seen that do all the above are hot ass triplets at my school...

But if everyone acted the same, looked the same, etc...this world would be pretty boring, and hence, none of us would be "unique"

Your definition of a unique person is flawed. You say a unique person is someone with everything different. But it's someone or something with a different combination of traits. And with that, fingerprints blows the argument that no one's unique sky high.

I don't think this is a very hard question.

I'd say it's statistically unlikely that you are unique......unless you live in a septic tank, and your name is Germaine Fartsalot

He's right you know. I just went outside and checked it out and it's true...there were a lot of different people and things to see.
