You need some moisture on your fingers. There's always some wet produce. Moisture from a frozen or dairy item also works.

your fingers are too cold, rub them against each other a little.

I have a similar problem. I actually have my children do it for me.

My buddies in High School could do it without their fingers. I was going to say I'd like to be able to do that. Also I's like to be able to Ollie.

It’d be nice to be able to snap my fingers on my left hand.

I can do it with my right hand no problem but I’m unable to do it consistently with my left... maybe 1 out of 7 times I get a decent sound.

I suppose if I practiced it’d get better... but it’s uncomfortable on my left hand for some reason.

Yeah, but pretty wildly impractical. There's a reason most guns don't use ammunition that weighs a pound or two each and only really hurts if you hit them with one end.

This is the first time I've ever gotten something useful from this website.

Play four lines of music at the same time. (I can only handle two and four is necessary for any classical organ piece.)
