Senator John McCain is playing favorites with issuing invites to his upcoming funeral, it's been reported.

Earlier in the day McCain announced that Vice-President Pence would get an invite to the event, but that President Trump would NOT.

Senator Orrin Hatch struck back at McCain and said President and Mrs. Trump deserved to score tickets to the funeral.

"I think that's ridiculous," Hatch told CNN when asked about McCain's desire to keep Trump away. "He's the President of the United States. He's a very good man. But it's up to John. I think John should have his wishes fulfilled with regard to who attends his funeral."

Meghan McCain - co host of ABC's THE VIEW, has remained SILENT on the guest list, however, has been seen shopping for dresses for the funeral where it's believed she plans to make a fashion SPLASH.

no info yet ... but you can bet it'll be AMAZING

The Senator McCain funeral will basically be America's answer to the Prince Harry wedding. Expect GLAMOUR to the MAX.

I love those Funeral sandwiches!

A funeral is the last chance to let bygones be bygones. Anyone should be allowed to reflect and make peace that might not have been possible before. Life isn't perfect or neat.

Attended, reflect and forgive.

Saxi- didn't you just have a major freak out when President Clinton was invited to Barbara Bush's funeral and brought his family?

This newfound obsession with funeral invitations seems a little morbid. Even given the Trump legal team's expansive view of Presidential powers, automatic invites to funerals is not an Executive privilege.

Have you read the story about what Trump said when he was invited to Michael Cohen's son's Bar-Mitzvah?

http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2018/04/trump-humiliated-michael-cohen-at-his-sons-bar-mitzvah.html

The Wall Street Journal has a sad example of one of the ways in which Trump has previously embarrassed his fixer. Trump agreed to attend Cohen’s son’s bar mitzvah, but then showed up late, and Cohen humiliatingly delayed the ceremony to suit his boss’s arrival. “After Mr. Trump arrived,” the Journal reports, “he gave a speech, telling guests he hadn’t planned to come, but he relented after Mr. Cohen had repeatedly called him, his secretary and his children begging him to appear, the attendee said.”

A class act.

Could be fun if he shows up uninvited, gets kicked out by th mccain family, then strikes back with his bodyguards before putting a few of them under arrest. The best part of all of this is that it could actually happen... it's the kind of things he does, and there are a lot of americans who think it would be ok.

That's a very nice eulogy from someone who once paid to have a rumor spread that McCain had fathered a child out of wedlock.
