"The French president's command of English is considered to be excellent."
Huh? Is this the same President they've had for the last year or did they get a new one?
pretty sure his English is better than your french. Nevertheless... I find his accent terrible. He doesn't get the english musicality at all, and his words don't land where they should in each of his phrases. He might need to take a few classes with uncle betiko.
But yeah, in french, to say that a woman is "délicieuse" is a pretty posh compliment. Something an old man could say to a friend to compliment his daughter, no sexual ambiguity there. It means that she's great company and that she's charming. It's something you could use on a date with a french girl though, if you want to make the girl blush, and you would look like a gentleman.

No. It's a term of professional respect.
Like referring to a female work colleague as sweetcheeks or a respectful moniker like Tits McGee in English.

In France it's okay to call your friend's daughter 'delicious'.
You heard it here first, people.

Every language, even every accent follows a certain patern, where you go up or down within your phrases. They all have their own "music".

Apart from tonal languages - like Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese - where going up instead of down would completely change the meaning of what you are saying.

I'd consider that rhythm or maybe syntax.

The title's, like, beat the bird and pull it out its feathers.
It's a load of nonsense really. The guy's wife is kind of fat, a bird is coming and eating her fish, it flies away so he follows it out to the mountains to try and shoot it. When he gets back it turns out she was actually pregnant and just gave birth. They start talking about eating the bird and I start losing the will to keep listening to the song.
