Indiana Jones 4 - Will it suck like the new star wars films?

Indy 4 has now started production for release next year, and this should be something that i would have been looking forward to, had it not been for the fact that i also looked forward to the new star wars films that came out recently.
and they sucked so much that it hurts.
it has taken 3 years for me to reprogram my memory to forget the shite that had been produced and only consider the originals as 'star wars'.
does anyone else wonder if harrison ford is too old?
does the fact that sean connery would not out of retirement impact on the film?
does anyone care at all?
http://www.indianajones.com/
please tell me, i must know!
i'm not actually that bothered. but i am currently waiting for the washing machine to finish so that i can get some work clothes dried ready for the morning. and this helps pass the time.

What do you consider recently in relation to the Star Wars movies?
What would it matter if Sean Connery isn't in the new Indy movie? He was only in one of the previous three.
I love the first three Indy movies, but holding back any gathering feelings of excitement until it comes out. I think Harrison is a fantastic actor and if anyone could pull off a hit, he can.

Please explain how the new Star Wars films "sucked"?
I am of the new generation, and I think the new ones are better.

I grew up with Star Wars, and I just couldn't stand the new ones.

Special effects and acting are waaaayyy better.
Mark Hamill has all the acting ability of a log: wooden and lifeless.
Now, compared with Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor, Samual L Jackson and especially, Ian McDiamond, I think I know where I stand.
Did you even watch the opening space battle from Ep III?
Can you consider how much effort it took to create that?

Alec Guiness = Legend
Harrison Ford = Cocky bastard.
Carrie Fisher = Meh
And, yes I am looking forward to Indy 4, despite no knowledge of plot details, or even the sub-title.

are you seriously going to bring acting into this discussion in defense of the new Star Wars moview? Hayden Christianson (sp?) may be the worst actor I've ever seen. Even McGregor and Liam couldn't overcome that.

Great idea. I'm certainly hopefull.
Harrison Ford has been too old for several decades, yet he pulls it off film after film.
I would rather that Saun was involved but hopefully they can get on without him.
If nothing else my expectations will be so low that I should be able to enjoy the special effects that should be phenominal. Also we lack good nazi movies these days.

then the new generation should be locked in a room and forced to watch jar jar binks on an endless loop until they go mad or grow up.
Re: indiana jones - harrison ford has the privilege of appearing twice in a friend of mine's list of the five male movie characters he would have sex with if forced to; as indy and as han, obv. He may be a bit craggy these days, but if they make it a running joke about how past it he is and don't just ignore it, then i reckon he can pull it off. If forced to. oo-er missus.

i think the film is going to be set in the fifties and therefore indy being older would be fine in that case

He's allways been treated somewhat more like a human when he was jumping too far to be realistic or what have you. Even though some of the stunts were clearly to difficult for a mere person to pull off. They made them look like he just made it and was lucky and not super athletic.
I would presume they will continue the pattern and expect them to add some extra.
Screen writers creating dialoge, for a sweaty, dirty, tired, hurt Indy that shouldn't have been physically able to make it wrote:I'm too old for this.
