I'm beginning to think I don't fit in with most people. I was reading online that a lot of people cried during the ending of Logan but I just don't get it. Furthermore, people cried at the death of Mufasa. Are they not aware that it is a cartoon? Things that make me cry are like happy scenes with applause ... pretty much any Adam Sandler movie works like that ... or things about horses.

Generally I only cry during political speeches.

I may occasionally cry at a very sad or moving scene... if it manages to get passed my manipulative bullshit detectors.

We're all dead inside, some of us just haven't been put in the dirt yet.

Honestly......happy, moving shit may bring water to my eyes....crying? No. Example.....ending of Armageddon....Bruce Willis giving his life for his daughter.....gambling dad reuniting with his son......comes from being a parent

Usually it is when someone loses their friend or family, I sometimes seem to grieve with them.

Spoiler (It's an Adam Sandler movie though, who cares): When he fast forwards his life, misses his kids wedding, them growing up, his wife leaving him, and then he's just suddenly on his death bed, hit me in my honey nut feelios.

Might've cried once are twice at movies in recent years but it was more a sort of stress relief than because the content upset me. I can remember it happening but I have literally no idea what the film was/films were.
The only time I remember crying at a movie because the movie itself upset me was when I was five, and the big gorilla got shot in Mighty Joe Young.

Movies about fierce 2nd Amendment protectors who's children are shot dead at a concert. This truly makes me cry! Oh....the irony!

My eyes water up all the time during movies or tv shows.
There's no rhyme or reason... could be a comedy, tragedy, action... *certainly 'tear jerker" moment. *anything involving the relationship between a dad and daughter. (I have two daughters.) *anything involving a dog being hurt. *comic book movies that bring back childhood memories. *those "backstory" moments on shows like America's Got Talent... overcoming adversity type moments.
I've even been known to drop tears during commercials.
I can tear-up during weddings too, but only if I'm close to the people getting married.
Conversely/ironically I almost never cry or get wet-eyed at funerals.

First of all, fiction is fiction, whether it is a cartoon or a real movie. It's the concepts behind the fiction. People sill cry at the death of Bambi's mom.
The ending of that great baseball movie "Field of Dreams" always makes me cry.

I cried today, and yesterday too. Aunt Peggy died. I loved her, and she died, and what's more, the news didn't reach me in time to attend the funeral. Bollocks, I'm crying again now. Peggy died, ffs.
