2017: The year with no Zombies

As you can see on the chart below, this is the year with the least number of zombie movies since 1998, which means that this entire century isn't going to be dominated by the genre. There are still zombies in the culture, with iZombie, Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead on tv, but I can bet as those shows end they will not be replaced. I guess zombies are passe. The two movies released this year are both lame. One is Patient Zero, which has been in post-production for two years and has an unknown release date and the other is an animated Resident Evil movie. For fans of the genre, these are trying times as even the World War Z sequel is looking like it might never happen. Zombie video games are still alive and well though.

Interesting, but what are the stats on zombie games?
Make sure to break the data down into Quirk and non-Quirk components.

There will be zombies.
Those fake Hollywood zombies can't compete with the real zombies of CC.
With the continued support of MGSteve and friends, 2017 is looking like another strong year for zombie games.
