------Really, almost 24hrs and nobody else...can say anything about VEGAS... ...I always find myself the bearer of shoot out news in America...
------Almost at 60 dead.........59 and over 527 wounded...I tend to think of some of the GREAT WAR STORIES I HAVE BEEN WRITING...It is like being in noman's land ,with machine guns ripping through people like a hot knife through butter...WOW!!!...I know it is a horrible moment in time...But I would like to say, laughter can bring relief to some of the pain...This sick world of today, has forgotten that fact...A joke here or there...Not to increase pain, but we have to learn how to laugh at ourselves again...Maybe people wouldn't walk around with sticks up their asses all the time...
------Take the day after the space shuttle blew up in 1985...In class ,someone lite a paper airplane on fire, look the space shuttle...Jokes like, what was the crew's choice of soda/pop?...7UP... ,or What does the letters NASA stand for?...NEED ANOTHER SEVEN ASTRONAUTS... ...

The vast majority of Americans, poll after poll want stricter gun control. The American Congress fears the NRA. The NRA use to be all about gun safety and hunting. Now the NRA has become an ATM of the Gun Makers who care more about profit and not about the safety of ordinary citizens.

The military assault rifle is for killing people and now Congress wants to legalize silencers??????? WTF?!?!?! The insanity continues.......

Those who use the argument that this not the time to talk about it or HEY, let's crack some jokes about this tragic event are not to be taken serious.

At this point the top lone mass-kill competitors are going to have to switch over to bombs, maybe nukes, also bio & chem weapons. Developing/releasing a doomsday virus would probably make one untouchable for winning the gold*.

*Though it's likely whoever does accomplish this will really just be a tool of the ever-growing ai hegemony.

Honestly, people will do harm to others no matter the tool given. (See China Mass Stabbings). The propaganda behind it and immortalizing these sick people is what irks me. I'm sure if I were to list the most recent mass shootings, people could name the shooter from the top of their head, but not the victims. That's how fucked up we are. We immortalize people who do terrible deeds, but f*ck cares about the folks caught in the fire.

I don't have a problem with responsible ownership of guns. Heck, I've shot some off when I've visited family, aiming for empty cans (they live out in the country). But why, praytell, does someone need a dozen or more assault rifles?

But, of course, if people turned a blind eye when 20+ kids were slaughtered at school in a similar random terror act a few years back, why would this make any difference to them?

Congress are filled with cowards. They make any meaningful laws to restrict the type of guns that civilians can walk around with, NRA will back an opponent.


You are right, if Congress did nothing about school children being shot up, they'll do nothing about this massacre.
