Har, I bet your a Debbie Downer at all the bonfire gatherings. "Put that fire out you'll burn us and the whole neighborhood down!!1!"
The IRS crack was a joke, get your joke software updated for the love of God.
Lemme ask you, is this intimidation or free speech-

That's an easy one, free speech, even though he is starting a fire in public, there is a reporter there so it's all right.
Here, is this free speech or racism?-

Now that's a decent sized fire and it's a black guy effigy being burned. Ya think Obama should be intimidated? Should the Secret Service be called and sent out to talk to each and every person at this event? Naw, it's free speech. Hopefully no one got singed.
These are government types, so they are easy to just say free speech, there is no question obviously.
Here is a harder one, is this free speech, intimidation or racism?-

Opps, they are burning crosses! Holy shit you said that burning crosses is only done to intimidate and threaten. Is that what these people are doing? Those fires look pretty unsafe as well and they are walking down the middle of the street! Where are the police when ya need 'em. Maybe call the fire department while you're at it.
People burn stuff all the time as a symbol. You can view those symbols in anyway you wish. If my black neighbor made an effigy and labeled it "White People" and set it on fire, should I look out my window and be intimidated? Should I fear for my life? Should I call the cops and say the guy is threatening me?
Him burning said effigy isn't a threat to me. Him coming onto my property armed is a threat.
The KKK marching down the street (exercising their free speech by the way) could be and would be viewed by some at intimidation and threatening, yet the SCOTUS is very clear on this very subject. It's free speech. Disgusting speech to be sure, but free speech regardless. Burning a cross in you own fucking yard is disgusting, but it's free speech so long as no fire ordinance laws are violated. Though there may be laws in some states that would criminally punish such an act.
Anyway, there aren't cross burnings so much anymore. Except in England apparently. Don't tell me you see racists under every bed and in every closet like the hysterics that seem to be all the rage now a days. Since Trump go elected suddenly there are tens of millions of actual racists running around America.
Sorry to refute that narrative, but there is but a tiny percentage of actual racists in the US at least. There are a hell of a lot of bigoted people, virtually every person I've ever met is a bigot in one way or another. But in all my years I don't think I've actually encountered an actual racist. I might have but I can't read minds. I can only read actions and I've never seen an actual cross burning in person or met anyone who has ever done such a thing.
The exaggeration of statements like "Bern will argue for the KKK burning crosses next" is just stupid talk. The KKK and the number of racists individuals in the US is about as big a pimple on my ass. Maybe you get intimidated by ass pimples but I assure you, they pop easy.
