this is why I was trying to use photobucket...

I'm publishing a new edition of my novel. Very few changes, except taking out some typos, rephrasing a couple of things, and taking out all the between-paragraph spaces which I thought very cool to begin with. This has saved me about 50 pages, and when hundreds of thousands of copies sell, it'll save a few trees.
Meanwhile I decided that the cover with a drawing by yours truly was pretty naff, so I'm looking for opinion on a new front cover... (ignore the watermark, that'll disappear when I buy the image rights).
Here's three possible covers. which do you think is best?

Show us your drawing. Maybe it's better. Let the people decide.

But it's the small run collector's edition with the original author's drawing. Like the book of Morman. The old one's with the spelling mistakes and bad grammar are the most valuable.

The font is the thing for me. It's a wee bit tacky.

New title: book cover poll.

That's the only thing I'd pretty much settled on... I'll play around with a couple of others before I make my decision, whichever one that is in the end.

I don't have that kind of money laying around. Besides what did my great great grandchildren do for me?

Please feel free to away my suggestion because having read a large part of your work (lots of work and a few paperbacks put it on the back burner), I would say that the second one fits the novel best. On the other hand, a lot of pulp fiction has covers that have nothing whatsoever to do with their insides which is why you can't tell a book by its cover.

Wait, are you saying I should actively promote all my National Novel Writing Month novels that I haven't properly proofread yet?

Why can we make 2 choices?

For the record, I only voted for one.

Book cover poll.

I didn't want anybody to neglect the baby dragons.

Tzor, I agree the green dragon one is nothing to do with the plot, but it does seem to be the most popular here and elsewhere. And if people buy the book, they'll forgive the fact that the cover is irrelevant. I hope.
