Even with recent US tense context, I can't understand how this policeman just empty his gun loader on man who was driving with his wife and their child...
Some broken lives (Castile family and officer one)because of what? because of a man who totally loose control... Are there some trainings aiming to manage stress?

Sorry to put this video, but I can't believe this guy is acquitted. The only good news (if we can say this) is "The St. Anthony Police Department said shortly after the verdict that Yanez would no longer be with the police force."

People in America are very oppressed and abused by their police, not like people in most other civilized parts of the world like Europe or the Far East.

The international community's silence on America's systemic abuse of its citizens' human rights - especially of ethnic minorities - is shameful. Guess world leaders decided that selling out to American investment was more important than defending the values of freedom and liberty.

Being a police officer is a very difficult job...

As for Mr. swdk... Considering how many terrorist attacks and city-wide riots the UK has had. You should hardly be using that place as a positive example of law and order...

Less ''police oppression'' more suicide bomber and hit & run terrorists. Take your pick.

And besides, aren't you really a keen admirer of 'Red' China's strong-arm tactics?

And that is despite your hypocritically choosing to live in the UK where your personal excesses are far better tolerated, perhaps overly so.

Number of people killed by American police since Jan 1 2017: 569

Number of people killed by terrorists in the UK since Jan 1 2017: 36

Verdict: American police are more of a threat than terrorists.

Even you know how meaningless a comparison that is...

...but perhaps you've convinced the idiots that know nothing about statistics.

US population is roughly 5x the size of the UK. 36 terror deaths in the UK is roughly equivalent to 210 occurring in the US.

So you are prepared to let your police slaughter 569 people in order to stop 210 terror deaths.

Seems reasonable.

The overwhelming percentage of those 569 were likely criminals/terrorists. Duhhh.

If they were shot in the act of committing a crime then your brutal human-rights-denying police didn't do a very good job of preventing crime did they? They just waited until the crime occurred then shot the perpetrator afterwards.

Also, probably like half of those 569 were probably just black people doing things like buying groceries before being immediately brutalized by fascist American police.

That's a self-serving definition. The state defines who is a "criminal" so it's not surprising that people oppressed by the state turn out to be "criminals."

The vast majority of those 569 were not criminals in any moral sense. Quite a number were just people walking down the street whom the police decided to finger for a "crime" on little or no evidence. Many others were people having a bad day who flipped out and punched a wall, maybe yelled some threats, but would have calmed down and returned to their senses if left alone for a while. Quite a few were people with depression or mental illness. A hefty number would have been people in the drug business, defined as "criminal" by arbitrary government fiat, for no morally defensible reason. (If you sell Prozac for depressed people to try to brighten their dreary lives, you're a "pharmacist" and welcome to make millions, but if you sell mescaline to the exact same people for the exact same reason, you're a "gangster" and go to jail for 20 years.)

Yeah your right, they should just kill anyone they want because it's hard...

I mean it's not like they are getting paid more to compensate for how difficult the job is right?
